USPS Proposed New Regulations Regarding Tabbing

The USPS has published in the Federal Register proposed new regulations regarding the tabbing of what are commonly called newsletters. Among the highlights of these proposed changes are the elimination of perforated tabs and 15/16″ tabs. The only acceptable tab sizes will be 1″, 1 1/2″ and 2 ” tabs.

Also included among the changes will be the requirement for the use of multiple tabs on Newsletters. Previously this was only required for those mailing Booklets.
