MILFORD, CT, July 27, 2009Neopost USA has acquired Rena Systems, Inc., a leading provider of tabletop inkjet address printers for professional mailers.  The acquisition was completed on Monday, July 6. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

As a result of Neopost USA’s acquisition, both companies will join forces to create a new Addressing Solutions Competency Center in Oaks, PA.  This new facility will focus on growing the Neopost, Hasler and Rena brands’ addressing solutions business.  “The main beneficiaries of our new Competency Center will be our customers,” says Neopost USA President and Chief Executive Officer Dennis LeStrange.  “They can expect a superior level of customer service, technical support and expertise second to none as well as a broad product offering unparalleled in the industry.”

The new Addressing Solutions Competency Center will be fully dedicated to supporting the Neopost USA and Rena networks of branches and dealers.  Rena products are marketed through a national distribution organization of nearly 200 authorized dealers. Rena President Nick von der Wense will lead the Addressing Solutions Competency Center.

“This new step in Neopost USA’s growth leverages both companies’ distribution strength,” says LeStrange.  “By incorporating Rena’s business assets, Neopost USA can generate spectacular market share gains in one of the most active segments of the mail processing market.”
