Description
About the Walco FNIR 6480
The Walco FNIR 6480 is a Fannon near-infrared (NIR) dryer built around a 6,480-watt NIR lamp. Near-infrared energy is absorbed quickly by inks and coatings, delivering rapid, efficient drying over a short conveyor footprint.
In a production mail or print-finishing line, the FNIR 6480 mounts over the conveyor to set pieces in line at speed. Near-infrared drying is a good fit where you want fast energy transfer and a compact drying zone.
Inline, the FNIR 6480 also mounts over the dry section of the Walco SB Series split bases — 4224SB, 4224SBH, 4224SBX, 4235SB, 4235SBH and 4235SBX — via the Walco 2110-3 IR dryer mount (sold separately).
