About the Walco 655MB
The Walco 655MB Multibase System is a full-frame addressing platform built around a long, 65.5-inch print-and-transport base. That extended length gives you room to mount multiple inkjet heads and inline devices — so addresses, return addresses, barcodes and messages can be applied together in a single controlled pass — making it the central transport in a larger inline addressing line.
The 655MB handles material from 2″L x 3″W up to a maximum of 20″ wide, with thickness up to 1/2″ standard, running left-to-right or right-to-left on a 110 VAC single-phase 10-amp circuit. It features full-frame construction, adjustable infeed guides and rollers, 12-inch steel transport rollers, vacuum belts, adjustable heat belts, integrated conveyor and dryer temperature controls, independent vacuum control and variable-speed transport. It’s shown with a VF200 vacuum feeder, an 8-foot shingling conveyor, up to 4 inches of print, a barcode verifier and an 8,000-watt infrared dryer, with infrared options from 4,000 to 8,000 watts.
