About the Walco 4224SBH
The Walco 4224SBH is the high-speed version of the 4224 SB Series print-and-dry split base, with a 42-inch print section and a 24-inch dry section running at up to 600 feet per minute. It carries the same split-base print-and-dry design at a higher throughput for busier production lines.
The split-base layout lets a Walco inkjet printing system mount over the print section while the dry section carries pieces beneath a dryer at speed, keeping ink set and pieces flat in one continuous pass. It is the physical transport base onto which Walco builds a high-speed inline print-and-dry production line.
Inkjet Printing Options
The 4224SBH print base is engineered to accept a Walco inkjet printing system mounted over its print section. Popular current configurations include:

The 4224SBH’s dry section is built to run beneath a Fannon dryer or curing lamp:

- Near-infrared: Walco FNIR 6480 and FNIR 9720 Fannon NIR dryers (2110-3 mount, sold separately)
- UV LED: Walco FUV-3 and FUV-6 Fannon UV LED curing systems (mount included)
