Description
About the Walco 240BT
The Walco 240BT Bump Turn System is a simple inline solution for rotating products 90 degrees. It turns a large range of material sizes and thicknesses — left or right — with very little adjustment, and its easy integration and versatility make it a strong choice for almost any turning application. The payoff is doing more in a single pass: for example, apply two tabs with an Accufast KT2, feed into the 240BT, then straight into a printer like the Accufast P8 or Walco 350IJ — job complete.
Built to last with a rugged drivetrain — large-diameter steel shafts, steel drive pulleys, 12"-wide steel rollers and sealed shaft locking collar bearings — the 240BT offers fast, simple setup, variable-speed transport, and belts and guides that are easy to adjust from non-proprietary components. Specs: turns left or right; material from 5"L x 3"W up to 8.5"W x 11"L; up to 1/2" thick standard; 24"L x 23.5"W x 33–36"H; 110 VAC single-phase 10-amp circuit.
In a production mail line, a bump turn is used to route flow between equipment that is not arranged in a straight line, such as turning product from one conveyor run onto another. It keeps pieces moving continuously through a change of direction without manual handling.
