About the DA700
The Pitney Bowes DA700 — also known as the Secap 13K — is built on the well-known Bryce 13K platform and was the next generation of that industry-leading address printer. It prints from any Windows program, so you can run a mail merge from MS Word to connect and print your customer database; for envelope layout the original listing recommended Satori Designer.
The DA700 delivers Hewlett-Packard 600 dpi inkjet quality using 45A-style cartridges and prints over 13,000 mailpieces per hour. It runs material up to 1/4 inch thick, places graphics and barcodes anywhere on the piece at 150, 300, or 600 dpi, and as a PCL-5 graphics printer interfaces with any PC, mini, or mainframe. Along with any Windows-compatible font it has twelve internal typefaces, scalable from 4 to 30 points with bold, italic, outline, and variable-width attributes.
