Description
About the Secap T-2000
Need a heavy-duty tabletop tabber? The Secap T-2000 worked smoothly with a wide range of printers — including fixed-head desktop printers and production mail tables. With precise tab placement and superior material handling, it turned raw mail into finished, properly sealed pieces, offline or inline.
The T-2000 applied one, two or three tabs in a single pass, using precise registration transport guides. Run clear, translucent or paper tabs — or a variety of adhesive materials — with a simple roll swap, plus labels, stamps, customized stickers and scratch-offs. Smart sensors and guides kept pieces moving cleanly at up to 20,000 pieces per hour (15,000/hour double-tab on 8.5"), with a side-tab option for extra productivity. Built from heavy-duty aluminum and steel, it used the user-friendly Ameritek T-950 electronic control panel. Specs: transport speed 0–375 ft/min; material 3"W x 5"L up to 12"W x 14"L, up to 3/8" thick; tab size 3/4" up to 1-3/4"W x 2"L; 13.5" roll on a 3" core (approx. 30,000 tabs); 28"W x 34"D x 38"H; 160 lb shipping.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the Ameritek T2000 — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Contact us: the same unit is often available wearing another brand’s model number, and parts, supplies, and service experience carry straight over. Full family story: the T-250 family guide.
