Description
About the Secap 22K
As the name says, the Secap 22K prints 22,000 mailpieces per hour — high speed in a compact desktop unit that handles even demanding addressing jobs efficiently and reliably. Its fixed-head design provides 1.5″ of print coverage in a single bank of print heads, handling media up to 13″ x 15″ and 1/8″ thick, ideal for printing a destination address and barcode within nine address lines plus a custom message to the right or left of the address.
The print heads mount on an innovative swivel-head subsystem for quick, easy access. Barcodes and graphics print at 150, 200, 300 or 600 dpi using Hewlett-Packard inkjet technology. Beyond any Windows-compatible font, it offers 12 internal fonts scalable from 4 to 30 points with bold, italic, outline and varying widths, and it interfaces with any PC, mini or mainframe. Refurbished units from All For Mailers have their feed rollers and separator tips replaced and are tested by a trained technician.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
The 22K is no longer in current production, but All For Mailers still supports it with feed rollers, separator tips, ink and parts. For a current entry-level address printer, compare it to the Rena Imager 1.5, 1.5 Plus or Rena AS-150.
Straight talk: some parts for the Secap 22K are getting hard to find — but it was built to last. These were genuinely well-made units, and a well-cared-for one may run for years yet. It’s off the current price lists, and while we can still source many parts, certain components — most often boards, displays and electronics — are increasingly scarce. We can often keep one running. We just can’t promise it indefinitely.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Shopping today? We’d steer you toward a current, supported platform — the RENA AS-150, AS-450, AS-650 and AS-850, or the Formax AP2 (2in), AP3 (3in) and AP4 (4in in-line). Tell us your volume and piece sizes and we’ll match you to the right machine, with parts, service and lifetime phone support behind it.
