The Rena UT-361 was built by Rena in Germany. This page exists for reference and identification only — the UT-361 is not available for purchase from All For Mailers.

Common Problems with the Rena UT-361

The limiting factor on a UT-361 today is not the machine, it is the supply chain behind it.

Straight talk: we do not recommend buying a Rena UT-361 today. It is out of production, it is on no current price list, and nothing is available for it. Purchase at your own risk, even at an attractive price — a tabber is only as good as the parts and service behind it.

Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Need a tabber you can count on? The RENA T-250, T-650, T-750 or T-950, or the XPS ProTab 4.0 — all current, all supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support. Tell us your volume and piece sizes and we will match you to the right machine. Call 866-430-2874.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Rena UT-361 and how do I tell it apart?
The UT-361 was built by Rena in Germany. It is frequently confused with the Rena T-350, which Astro built as its replacement, and with the Astro ATS-9800 — three genuinely different machines that get listed together by mistake. This page exists for reference and identification only; the UT-361 is not available for purchase from All For Mailers.

Can I still get parts for a Rena UT-361?
No. The UT-361 is out of production, it is on no current price list, and nothing is available for it. If you are running one, protect it: use a quality surge protector and add static protection, because power spikes and static are what kill the boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price.

What should I buy instead of a Rena UT-361?
A current, supported tabber — the RENA T-250, T-650, T-750 or T-950, or the XPS ProTab 4.0. All are backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support. Tell us your volume and piece sizes and we will match you to the right machine. Call 866-430-2874.
