About the MACH 5
The RENA MACH 5 is a Memjet-powered digital color envelope printer built for real mail production. It turns out up to 7,500 #10 envelopes per hour at 1600 x 800 dpi running 12 inches per second, with a Best mode of 1600 x 1600 dpi at 6 ips when image quality matters most. It also handles cut sheets at up to 3,600 8.5 x 11 pages per hour, all within a full-bleed print area of 8.5 x 17 inches.
Media flexibility is a strength here. The MACH 5 accepts pieces from 3 x 4-1/8 inches up to 9.5 x 17 inches and up to 1/48 inch (430 gsm) thick. Five ink channels (CMYKK) feed a single 8.77-inch print bar carrying 70,400 nozzles, drawing from 250 ml color tanks and a 500 ml black tank. No heat is used in printing, a built-in top-load friction feeder keeps jobs moving, and USB plus Ethernet make setup straightforward.
