Description

About the ES-450

The RENA ES-450 is a desktop automatic envelope flap sealer that closes the gap between hand-sealing and a full mailing system. It handles envelopes from A5 up to 10in x 13in — maximum product size 10in wide by 13in long, minimum an A5 envelope at 5-3/4in by 4-3/8in — with product thickness from 0.003in up to 0.25in. A belt speed of 300 feet per minute keeps stacks moving — up to 10,000–12,000 envelopes per hour depending on envelope size and sealing fluid — and it handles various flap types with consistent feeding and sealing quality from piece to piece.

At 75 lbs and running on standard 115VAC power, the ES-450 fits on a bench in mailrooms, fulfillment operations, and print shops that stuff envelopes on equipment without built-in sealing. Setup is convenient, with quick changeover between jobs, so it moves easily between a run of invoices and a run of 10×13 catalog envelopes. In the workflow it sits directly after inserting or hand-stuffing, turning open-flap stacks into sealed, mail-ready output. $5,495, in stock now — only 3 units exist under the RENA ES-450 name. When Quadient stepped away from the line, All For Mailers purchased the remaining RENA-badged inventory outright. The ES-450 was originally listed at $11,840, and the same sealer remains in production today as the Postmatic EFS Pro at a $7,500 MSRP. Order online, or call 866-430-2874 with questions.

Figures above come from this product’s own published page copy. The ES-450 PDF on file has no extractable text layer (only All For Mailers’ own cover and footer text), so dimensions are omitted rather than estimated — call 866-430-2874 for those. Frequently Asked Questions

What envelope sizes does the ES-450 seal?
From A5 envelopes up to 10″ x 13″, with thickness from 0.003″ to 0.25″. Minimum product size is an A5 envelope at 5-3/4″ x 4-3/8″.

How much does the ES-450 cost?
$5,495, in stock and ready to ship. Only 3 units exist under the RENA ES-450 name — order online, or call 866-430-2874 with questions.

Where does the ES-450 fit against the Formax FD 432?
The ES-450 is the desktop option, running a 300 ft/min belt on envelopes up to 10″ x 13″ and up to 0.25″ thick. The FD 432 is the higher-capacity sealer at up to 18,000 envelopes per hour on media up to 13″ W x 15″ L and 15 mm thick.

Why are there only 3 RENA ES-450 units?
Quadient/RENA once planned to sell this envelope sealer — marketed by Postmatic as the EFS Pro — under their own RENA name, and purchased a small batch before discontinuing the plan. All For Mailers purchased their remaining stock outright. These are the last 3 units that will ever carry the RENA ES-450 name.

How fast does the ES-450 seal envelopes?
Up to 10,000–12,000 envelopes per hour, per the Postmatic spec for this machine (sold under the EFS Pro name outside of these 3 RENA-labeled units). Real-world speed depends on how quickly the flap glue wets and sets — a quality sealing fluid, not plain water, helps the machine seal reliably at that rated speed and helps prevent the mold and odor that can develop when water sits in the reservoir.

How does the ES-450 compare to the AFM60S or AFM80S?
The AFM60S is built to feed and seal up to 60 #10 envelopes per minute; the AFM80S up to 80 #10 envelopes per minute. The ES-450 is a step up — a production-grade machine built for higher volume. If you’re outgrowing your AFM60S or AFM80S, the ES-450 is the next tier up.

What comes with my purchase?
