Description
About the Rena Envelope Imager 2.5
The Rena Envelope Imager 2.5 was built for mailers with low volumes but complicated pieces — big-system features without the big-system price. This American-made, all-metal tabletop address printer used dual print heads and a 2.5-inch print area with a 9.5-inch vertical range to add addresses, indicia, barcodes and more in a single pass, with electronic thickness adjustment and a clutch-controlled built-in feeder to adapt to a range of pieces.
The Imager 2.5 used thermal-inkjet printing with five HP 45A-style high-capacity cartridges in a 3-pen-plus-2-pen stitched split head, reaching up to 30,000 postcards per hour at 150 dpi and about 22,000 #10 envelopes per hour, with resolutions up to 600×600 dpi at reduced speed. It handled material from 5″ to 15″ long and 3″ to 13.5″ wide, up to 1/4″ thick, with a feeder holding up to 500 #10 envelopes and connection to a PC by parallel and USB 2.0.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
All For Mailers is a veteran-owned dealer, established in 2006 — our people have been in the mailing and print-finishing industry since 1991. This model, however, is no longer part of a line we actively carry.
If you’re looking for a modern replacement, our team is glad to point you toward current tabletop and production address printers — such as the Rena AS-series by Quadient — that fit your mailing. Just reach out.
Straight talk: the Rena Envelope Imager 2.5 is no longer in current production — and we still support it. It’s off the manufacturer’s active lineup, but parts and consumables are available, we know these machines inside out, and we keep plenty of them running for customers today. If you own one, you’re in good shape. If you’re buying a good used one, you’re not taking a risk we can’t cover.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
Need parts or supplies? SuppliesForMailers.com carries the consumables, and we stock or source the parts. Call 866-430-2874 and we’ll get you what you need.
Thinking about upgrading? No pressure — but if your volumes have grown or you want a machine with years of factory runway ahead of it, tell us what you’re running and what’s changed, and we’ll show you the current equivalent. Nationwide shipping with professional freight handling. Ask us about delivery and setup options for your location.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the Astrojet 1000p, Neopost AS-225P and AS-940, and Hasler HJ-225p — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Contact us: the same unit is often available wearing another brand’s model number, and parts, supplies, and service experience carry straight over.
