About the AS-850 S
The RENA AS-850 S is a turnkey addressing system built around the AS-850 high-volume monochrome thermal inkjet printer, bundled with an EASYFeed 140 friction feeder and a riser stand. Eight HP45A-style cartridges in a 2-4-2 layout give a 4in x 50in image area, with speeds up to 34,000 postcards or 26,000 #10 envelopes per hour and four print qualities from 150 to 600 dpi. The EASYFeed 140 holds up to 750 #10 envelopes for long, unattended runs.
Fed by the EASYFeed 140, the system handles media up to 14in x 17in and 3/8in thick; standalone, the printer accepts pieces up to 15in x 50in and 1/2in thick. A touchscreen makes job setup quick, and USB 3.0, Ethernet, and WiFi keep it connected however your shop works. The printer weighs 96 lbs and is built for daily production addressing.
