About the AS-850
The RENA AS-850 is a high-volume, in-line monochrome thermal inkjet imaging system with eight HP45A-style cartridges in a 2-4-2 layout, covering a 4in x 50in image area. It runs media from 3in x 5in up to a full 15in x 50in and up to 1/2in thick, at four print qualities from 150 to 600 dpi. Speeds reach 34,000 postcards or 26,000 #10 envelopes per hour, with a left-to-right feed direction and a touchscreen interface plus USB 3.0, Ethernet, and WiFi connectivity.
Built for production mail operations, the AS-850 works stand-alone or with the EASYFeed 140 friction feeder holding 750 #10 envelopes, and it runs in-line with the T-750 tabber/stamp affixer at up to 20,000 pieces per hour — a true print-and-tab line in one pass. At 96 lbs, it is the addressing engine for lettershops imaging oversized flats, self-mailers, and heavy daily volume — built for continuous daily production.
