About the Neopost AS-930 / RENA Imager II
The Neopost AS-930 (RENA Imager II) is a desktop address printer built to simplify repetitive mailings for mid-volume users who need productivity without sacrificing accuracy. Fixed-head technology keeps it printing almost constantly across a range of surfaces — from postcards to magazines — and secured paper pathways minimize jams for a smooth run from start to finish, keeping your address printing in-house and economical.
Set-up is simple: load the Plug’n Play software and the AS-930 is ready with one-touch controls and clear prompts. It uses reliable HP print technology, is Intelligent Mail Barcode ready, and supports USPS postal-automation discounts through CASS- and PAVE-certified software. Print resolution runs up to 600 dpi with three print heads, at speeds up to 39,000 postcards or 26,000 DL envelopes per hour, from a 350-DL hopper, handling media up to 6 mm thick. Optional spot-color ink cartridges, a conveyor stacker and mail-management software extend it for larger runs.

The RENA Reality — Read Before You Buy
Straight talk: some parts for the Neopost AS-930 / RENA Imager II are getting hard to find — but it was built to last. These were genuinely well-made units, and a well-cared-for one may run for years yet. It’s off the current price lists, and while we can still source many parts, certain components — most often boards, displays and electronics — are increasingly scarce. We can often keep one running. We just can’t promise it indefinitely.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.

Shopping today? We’d steer you toward a current, supported platform — the RENA AS-150, AS-450, AS-650 and AS-850, or the Formax AP2 (2in), AP3 (3in) and AP4 (4in in-line). Tell us your volume and piece sizes and we’ll match you to the right machine, with parts, service and lifetime phone support behind it.
