About the Neopost AS-830
The Neopost AS-830 is one of the most durable and dependable tabletop address printers ever built. Its simple, unique design keeps moving parts to a minimum, and combined with an oversized motor, that makes it extremely reliable — a proven track record spanning over 18 years with little to go wrong. When you buy a used AS-830 from All For Mailers, it comes with new feed rollers and separators.
Whether you’re mailing monthly invoices or reaching new markets with postcards, the AS-830 gives your mail a professional look. It prints up to 7,500 #10 envelopes per hour, maximizes USPS discounts by printing the Intelligent Mail barcode, and uses proven HP inkjet technology at resolutions up to 600 dpi. It runs up to 500,000 pieces per month, with a 1.5″ x 19.6″ print area, minimum document size 5.3″ x 2.76″, maximum 19″ x 14″, and maximum thickness of about 0.08″. It’s a great fit for a small business or realtor who wants an eye-catching color marketing message alongside the delivery address and barcode.

Still Supported by All For Mailers
The AS-830 is no longer in current production, but All For Mailers still supports it with ink, feed rollers, separators and parts (it shares the Rena Imager I / DA612 parts family). For a current tabletop address printer we can point you to today’s Rena models.
Straight talk: some parts for the Neopost AS-830 are getting hard to find — but it was built to last. These were genuinely well-made units, and a well-cared-for one may run for years yet. It’s off the current price lists, and while we can still source many parts, certain components — most often boards, displays and electronics — are increasingly scarce. We can often keep one running. We just can’t promise it indefinitely.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
Already own one? Call 866-430-2874 before you commit to a major repair — we’ll tell you honestly whether the part exists and whether the repair is worth it. SuppliesForMailers.com still stocks consumables.
Shopping today? We’d steer you toward a current, supported platform — the RENA AS-150, AS-450, AS-650 and AS-850, or the Formax AP2 (2in), AP3 (3in) and AP4 (4in in-line). Tell us your volume and piece sizes and we’ll match you to the right machine, with parts, service and lifetime phone support behind it.
