Description
About the Neopost AS-710 (Rena DA-608)
Rena-Neopost brought an easy desktop solution to direct mail with the AS-710 (also sold as the Rena DA-608). Its shuttle-head technology let you print almost anywhere on the piece — address, barcode, logo, or clip art — so you could create eye-catching postcards, self-mailers and envelopes that are more likely to be opened. Printing directly on blank stock also eliminated the cost of buying, printing and applying address labels.
It was ready to work out of the box: unpack, install the software, connect over USB 2.0 or TCP/IP, and go. Reliable HP print technology, Intelligent Mail Barcode readiness, and integration with CASS- and PAVE-certified software meant you could earn USPS postal-automation discounts. Specs: up to 14,000 envelopes/hour, up to 600 dpi, single shuttle head, material up to 6 mm thick, print area 500 x 235 mm, hopper capacity 350 DL envelopes.

Parts Support from All For Mailers
This model is no longer in current production, but All For Mailers still supports installed AS-710 / DA-608 units with parts and supplies. As a veteran-owned dealer, expert since 1991, we can also point you to a current address printer if you’re ready to upgrade.
Straight talk: buy a Neopost AS-710 (Rena DA-608) for parts only. This was a tank — an excellent machine that earned its reputation, and the mechanics on a good one could keep working for decades. But the electronics are the limit: the boards are no longer available at any price. Once one fails, the machine is done, however good the rest of it is. We don’t recommend buying one to put into production.
Protect what you have. These machines were built to last, and the mechanics will outlive the electronics every time. If you’re running one, put it on a quality surge protector, and add static protection — especially in dry winter air or on high-speed paper handling. Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
Already own one and it’s running? Run it, and call us at 866-430-2874 — we’ll help you get every last mile out of it and tell you honestly when it’s time. SuppliesForMailers.com still stocks consumables.
Need a machine you can count on? The RENA AS-150, AS-450, AS-650 and AS-850, or the Formax AP2 (2in), AP3 (3in) and AP4 (4in in-line) — all current, all supported, all backed by our parts, service and lifetime phone support.

Also known as: this machine was also sold as the the Hasler HJ-700 — same machine, different badge. Looking for one under a different name? Contact us: the same unit is often available wearing another brand’s model number, and parts, supplies, and service experience carry straight over.
