About the FlashGuard 18R6
The Formax FlashGuard 18R6 is the wide-format member of the FlashGuard family, with an 18-inch infeed that makes quick work of maps, charts, posters and other oversized documents. Six rollers — four heating and two cooling — deliver laminating speeds up to 47 inches per minute, handling pouches up to 18 inches wide and 14 mil thick with a maximum laminating thickness of 3 mm.
Operators get variable temperature control up to 320°F (160°C) for hot or cold lamination, plus a graphics-based LCD panel with custom setting memory for repeat jobs. The all-metal housing houses an internal cooling system, anti-jam rollers, a reverse button and a dedicated cool-down cycle. Formax includes 20 premium 3-mil FG-3 pouches to get you laminating the day it arrives.
