About the FlashGuard 13R8
The Formax FlashGuard 13R8 is the production-speed model in the 13-inch FlashGuard line, running an eight-roller system — six heated rollers and two cooling rollers — that laminates at up to 82 inches per minute. That extra roller count means more even heat and faster throughput than smaller machines, without sacrificing finish quality. It accepts pouches up to 13 inches wide and up to 14 mil, with a maximum laminating thickness of 3mm.
Temperature is variable up to 320°F (160°C), and both hot and cold lamination are supported. The graphics-based LCD control panel stores two custom setting memories, and the all-metal housing houses an internal cooling system, a reverse button for jam clearing, and a dedicated cool-down cycle that extends roller life. Formax includes a starter pack of 20 FG-3 premium 3 mil pouches so you can laminate the day it arrives.
