About the FD 8906CC
The Formax FD 8906CC is a high-capacity, conveyor-fed industrial cross-cut shredder that swallows up to 650 sheets at once at speeds up to 35 feet per minute, producing a shred size of 5/16 x 1-1/2 to 3 inches. Entire files, stacks of computer forms, cardboard, tapes, CDs and magnetic disks all go down the conveyor. An LED control panel with digital load indicator lets operators see exactly how hard the machine is working, and Auto Start/Stop, Auto Reverse and Auto Cleaning keep the routine hands-off.
Formax thought about the room it lives in, too: front waste bin access means the FD 8906CC can sit flush against a wall. The redesigned dual-compartment waste bin empties via two smaller canvas bags with guide rollers — easier on your staff than one giant bag — and the original single-compartment bin remains optional. The EvenFlow Automatic Oiling System is standard, and an optional output conveyor belt system can carry shred to an external waste bin. This is a custom product: a deposit is required and on-site installation (FD 8902-I) is mandatory.
