About the FD 8806SC
The Formax FD 8806SC is the strip-cut member of the 8806 industrial shredder family, and the strip-cut configuration buys it extra capacity: up to 110 sheets in a single pass. Like its cross-cut sibling, it is conveyor-fed and destroys entire files, stacks of computer forms, cardboard, CDs and magnetic discs. A continuous-duty motor with all-metal gearing drives heat-treated solid steel cutting blades, so the machine is engineered for the long shifts of high-volume centralized shredding.
Operators get an LED control panel with a load indicator that shows how hard the machine is working, so they can feed for maximum efficiency and minimum jams. Auto Start/Stop, Auto Reverse and Auto Cleaning take care of routine operation, and the EvenFlow Automatic Oiling System lubricates the all-steel blades while the machine runs. The rugged plastic waste bin rolls on casters, and a large safety stop bar and key lock are standard. The FD 8806SC is drop shipped with freight quoted.
