About the FD 87 Plasti
The Formax OnSite FD 87 Plasti is a purpose-built plastic and laminate shredder. Its two-stage dual-blade cutting system combines a strip-cut blade with a spiral blade, letting it destroy plastic sheets, laminated cards, paper and more in a single pass — material that would stall or damage a conventional paper shredder.
The blades are heat-treated, specially-ground solid steel, driven by a powerful AC geared-motor built for tough media. An LED control panel keeps operation straightforward, the steel cabinet rides on heavy-duty casters so it can move to where the work is, the waste bin carries a lifetime guarantee, and the energy-saving ECO mode switches to standby after 5 minutes of inactivity.
