About the FD 8650HS
The Formax FD 8650HS is a high-security office shredder with industrial strength, NSA evaluated to meet NSA/CSS requirements for P-7 high-security cross-cut shredders. It shreds up to 15 sheets at once — a substantial capacity at this security level — at up to 24 feet per minute, producing 1/32 x 3/16 in particles through an extra-wide 16 in feed opening.
The automatic oiling system comes standard, keeping the heat-treated steel blades lubricated without operator attention, and the waste bin holds up to 53 gallons so high-volume destruction days don’t turn into bin-emptying days. An LED control panel with load indicator, lifetime-guaranteed waste bin, AC geared-motor, steel cabinet and 5-minute ECO standby round out the package. This model is drop shipped.
