About the FD 8502AF
The Formax OnSite FD 8502AF is an AutoFeed cross-cut office shredder built for load-and-walk-away operation: stack up to 175 sheets in the AutoFeed hopper and get back to work while it shreds. A hand-feed hopper is still there for quick jobs, taking 22 to 24 sheets at a time, and the 16-inch-wide feed throat accepts paper up to 11 x 17 inches.
Heat-treated steel blades, a steel cabinet, an AC geared motor, and a lifetime-guaranteed waste bin handle daily office duty. The LED control panel includes a load indicator so you can see hopper status at a glance, ECO mode drops the machine into standby after 5 minutes of inactivity, and an optional oiling system keeps the cutters maintained.
