The Formax FD 8500HS is a high-security office shredder, NSA evaluated to meet NSA/CSS requirements for Level 6 high-security cross-cut shredders. Its 16 in feed opening is notably wider than typical office machines, taking oversized documents and computer forms without folding, while reducing everything to 1/32 x 3/16 in particles at up to 35 feet per minute, up to 5 sheets at a time.
Operation stays simple with an LED control panel and AutoStart, AutoStop and Auto Reverse, all wrapped in an all-metal cabinet suited to secure facilities. The energy-saving ECO mode enters standby after 5 minutes of inactivity, and an optional EvenFlow automatic oiling system can take blade lubrication off your checklist entirely.
