About the FD 8300HS
The Formax FD 8300HS is a high-security deskside shredder that is NSA-evaluated and meets NSA/CSS requirements for Level 6 high-security cross-cut shredding — the standard for Top Secret and classified documents. It reduces paper to a 1/32 x 3/16-inch particle, taking up to 8 sheets per pass at speeds up to 23 feet per minute.
Heat-treated steel blades and a steel cabinet are built for daily duty, driven by an AC geared motor, and the waste bin carries a lifetime guarantee. AutoStart/Stop/Reverse handles feeding and jam recovery, an LED control panel keeps status visible, and ECO mode drops the unit into standby after 5 minutes of inactivity. An optional EvenFlow automatic internal oiling system keeps the cutters conditioned without operator attention.
