Description
About the FD 7700-Base19
The Formax FD 7700-Base19 is a 7700 Series production inserter base that pairs a 5K speed license with an upgraded 14K accumulator speed license, plus conveyor and cabinet. That combination targets work with heavy accumulation — multi-page statements and variable sets — where the accumulator, not the insert speed, is what sets your real-world pace. Like the other bases, it is a custom product configured to order.
The platform supports up to 11 feeders and folds up to 8 sheets at a time, and with the Thick Set license it inserts flats sets up to 80 sheets or 10mm thick. The envelope hopper holds 800 #10 envelopes or 500 10 x 13 in flats, and the 22 in color touchscreen stores unlimited programmable jobs. OMR, BCR, 2D and QR reading can be placed anywhere on the page.

Rows labelled Host series are FD 7700 Series platform figures read from the Formax FD 7700 Series spec sheet text layer on file and describe the fully configured platform; the licence and inclusion rows are this base configuration’s own, from its All For Mailers page copy. The sheet publishes no separate dimensions or weight for the inserter base, so those rows are omitted.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why choose the Base19 over the Base15?
The Base19 trades the higher 7K insert speed license for a 14K accumulator speed license, a better fit when multi-page accumulation is your bottleneck. We will help you match the license mix to your documents.
What comes in the box?
The base includes the 5K speed license, 14K accumulator speed license, conveyor and cabinet.
When should I step up from the Base19 to the Base21?
Step up when you need both ends licensed. The Base21 keeps the 14K accumulator of the Base19 and adds the 7K insert speed license, which is what you want if the platform is running its full envelope of 7,000 envelopes per hour.
Where can reading marks be placed?
OMR, BCR, 2D and QR codes can be read anywhere on the page on the 7700 Series platform.
