About the FD 7104-30
The FD 7104-30 adds a single insert feeder station, with cabinet, to a Formax FD 7104 Series production inserter. Insert feeders on the 7104 are top-loading, so operators reload on the fly without stopping the run, and they feed a variety of media — including glossy booklets that many operations struggle to automate.
As part of the 7104 platform, it contributes to throughput of up to 4,500 envelopes per hour (5,500 with the Productivity Package). This is the non-intelligent version; if your job stream needs this station to read marks, the intelligent version is the FD 7104-31.
