About the FD 7104-21
The FD 7104-21 is a non-intelligent feeder folder module, supplied with cabinet, for Formax’s FD 7104 Series production inserter. It adds sheet feeding and folding capacity to a 7104 line — folding up to 8 sheets at a time — and supports Cascade Mode, which links feeders so the system keeps running while one station is reloaded.
The 7104 Series platform it plugs into is modular up to 8 modules and 17 feed stations, processing up to 4,500 envelopes per hour (5,500 with the Productivity Package) and rated for up to 180,000 pieces per month. If your application calls for document scanning at this station, the intelligent CIS versions of this module are the FD 7104-22 and FD 7104-23.
