Description
About the FD 6608 Special 6
The Formax FD 6608 Special 6 loads six stations with four standard feeders and two special feeders, making it the 6608 Series configuration for mailings that demand the most simultaneous inserts. Series speed tops out at 4,300 pieces per hour, with folding of up to 10 sheets in half-fold mode or 8 sheets tri-fold.
Control comes from a 10-inch color touchscreen with a graphics-based display, AutoSet automatic settings and 50 programmed jobs. The 325-envelope top-loading hopper refills on the fly, and a 500-envelope vertical stacker collects output. Cascade Mode links feeders for uninterrupted feeding, electromechanical double-document detectors guard integrity, and a divert station handles exceptions. Auto standby conserves power, and options include a CIS scanner, short feed trays and side exit trays. The Special 6 is built to order as a custom product.
