About the FD 6608 Special 4
The Formax FD 6608 Special 4 fills four stations with two standard and two special feeders, giving mixed-media mailings a home on the 6608 Series platform. The series is modular from 2 to 7 stations and runs up to 4,300 pieces per hour, folding up to 10 sheets in half-fold mode or 8 sheets tri-fold.
A 10-inch color touchscreen manages AutoSet one-touch setup and 50 programmed jobs, while the 325-envelope top-loading hopper and 500-envelope vertical stacker keep supply and output balanced on long runs. Cascade Mode enables continuous feeding across linked feeders, electromechanical double-document detectors check every feed, and a divert station pulls suspect pieces. Auto standby engages after an hour of inactivity, and options include a CIS scanner and thin booklet feeders. It is built to order as a custom product.
