About the FD 6608 Special 2
The Formax FD 6608 Special 2 is a two-station build of the modular 6608 Series inserter, pairing one standard feeder with one special feeder as a custom product. It runs up to 4,300 pieces per hour, folds up to 10 sheets half-fold or 8 sheets tri-fold, and the series expands from 2 to 7 stations. A high-capacity document feeder option handles up to 725 sheets for longer unattended runs.
A 10-inch color touchscreen with graphics display, AutoSet automatic setup, and 50 programmed jobs keep operators moving. The envelope hopper holds up to 325 and can be refilled on the fly, while the vertical output stacker holds 500 filled envelopes. Cascade Mode links feeders for continuous feeding, electromechanical double-document detectors and a divert station guard integrity, and auto standby kicks in after an hour idle. Options include a CIS scanner for OMR, 1D/2D barcodes, QR codes, and OCR, plus production feeders, thin booklet feeders, short feed trays, and side exit trays.
