About the FD 6608-15
The Formax FD 6608-15 is a thin booklet feeder for the modular FD 6608 Series folder inserters, and the series supports one or two of them as options. That means shops running the 6608 — up to 4,300 pieces per hour with 2 to 7 stations — can fold booklet feeding directly into automated inserting jobs instead of handling booklets by hand.
The supporting platform is substantial: a 10-inch color touchscreen, AutoSet, up to 50 programmed jobs, a 725-sheet document feeder, a 500-envelope hopper and a 500-envelope vertical output stacker. Folding covers up to 10 sheets half-folded or 8 sheets tri-folded, Cascade Mode keeps material flowing continuously, and double document detection plus a divert station protect accuracy. An optional CIS scanner reads OMR, 1D/2D barcodes, QR codes and OCR anywhere on the page for intelligent inserting.
