The Formax FD 6608-00 is a high-capacity production feeder for the modular FD 6608 Series folder inserters, field installed so it’s dialed in from the first run. The 6608 Series processes up to 4,300 pieces per hour across 2 to 7 stations, and its input configuration supports one or two of these production feeders when long jobs demand it.
Around it sits a well-equipped platform: a 10-inch color touchscreen, AutoSet automatic adjustment, up to 50 programmed jobs, a 725-sheet high-capacity document feeder, a 500-envelope top-loading hopper that refills on-the-fly, and a 500-envelope vertical output stacker. The series folds up to 10 sheets in a half fold or 8 sheets tri-folded, links feeders through Cascade Mode for continuous feeding, and applies electromechanical double document detection to guard mailpiece integrity.
