About the Formax FD 6606
The versatile Formax FD 6606 Series adapts to almost any folding and inserting application, and it can be configured with 2 to 7 stations for total flexibility. It folds and inserts sheets addressed in the middle, bottom or top into top-flap envelopes, and its large reversible 10.4-inch full-color touchscreen with a graphical interface makes setup a breeze.
The FD 6606 processes up to 4,300 envelopes per hour and up to 80,000 pieces per month, folding up to 10 sheets in half-fold and up to 8 in tri-fold. Feeder choices include a high-capacity document feeder up to 725 sheets, one or two production feeders up to 1,200 sheets each, a thin booklet feeder, and a top-loading envelope hopper up to 500 (up to 1,000 with the high-capacity option). Optional BCR, OMR and CIS scanning read codes across the full width of the document for automatic multi-page insertion, while dual double-document detectors and an error diverter protect mailing integrity.

Power spikes and static are what kill boards, and on these machines a board may not be replaceable at any price. It’s the cheapest insurance there is for equipment you can’t simply reorder.
