About the FD 6406 Standard 6
The Formax FD 6406 Standard 6 is the full-house configuration of the 6406 Series: six stations loaded with six standard feeders, built for mailings that pack a document plus a stack of inserts into every envelope. Series speed reaches 4,000 pieces per hour, folding up to 10 sheets in half-fold mode or 8 sheets tri-fold, with a 500-envelope vertical stacker on the output end.
The 325-envelope top-loading hopper refills on the fly, so envelope supply never stops the run. A 7-inch color touchscreen handles AutoSet automatic setup and stores 50 programmed jobs, Cascade Mode links feeders for continuous feeding, and electromechanical double-document detectors plus a divert station protect mail integrity. Auto standby saves power after idle periods, and options include a CIS scanner, thin booklet feeder and short feed trays. Each Standard 6 is a custom product configured to order.
