About the FD 6406 Standard 5F
The Formax FD 6406 Standard 5F stacks five stations into one 6406 Series frame: four standard feeders plus one high-capacity document feeder that holds up to 725 sheets. That combination suits operations feeding a long primary document alongside multiple inserts, at series speeds up to 4,000 pieces per hour with folding of up to 10 sheets half-fold or 8 sheets tri-fold.
A 7-inch color touchscreen drives AutoSet automatic job setup with 50 programmed jobs, while the 500-envelope vertical stacker and 325-envelope hopper keep output and envelope supply ahead of the machine. Cascade Mode links feeders for nonstop feeding, double-document detectors guard each station, and a divert station isolates problem pieces. An optional CIS scanner adds OMR, 1D/2D barcode, QR and OCR reading anywhere on the page. Like all 6406 configurations, the Standard 5F is a custom product built to order.
