Description
About the FD 6406 Standard 4
The Formax FD 6406 Standard 4 provides four insert stations with four standard feeders, a strong fit for mailings that combine a multi-page document with several inserts in a single pass. Series speed runs up to 4,000 pieces per hour, and the machine folds up to 10 sheets in half-fold mode or 8 sheets tri-fold before stacking finished mail in a 500-envelope vertical stacker.
Setup happens on a 7-inch color touchscreen with a graphics-based display; AutoSet measures the job automatically and 50 programmed jobs keep recurring work one touch away. A 325-envelope top-loading hopper, Cascade Mode for continuous feeding, electromechanical double-document detectors at each feeder, and a divert station keep long runs honest. Automatic standby engages after an hour idle, and an optional CIS scanner and production feeders extend the platform. Built as a custom product to your configuration.
