About the FD 6406 Special 5F
The Formax FD 6406 Special 5F is a five-station, built-to-order configuration combining two special feeders and two standard feeders with a high-capacity document feeder that holds up to 725 sheets. That mix suits operations mailing a long primary document alongside several inserts, at 6406 Series speeds of up to 4,000 pieces per hour.
It folds up to 10 sheets in half-fold or 8 in tri-fold, with AutoSet and 50 programmed jobs on the 7-inch color touchscreen keeping changeovers short. Cascade Mode links feeders for continuous operation, double-document detectors and a divert station guard piece integrity, and the 325-envelope hopper feeds a 500-envelope vertical stacker. An optional CIS scanner reads OMR, 1D/2D barcodes, QR codes and OCR anywhere on the page.
