About the FD 6406 Special 3F
The Formax FD 6406 Special 3F is a built-to-order configuration of the 6406 Series that pairs two special feeders with a high-capacity document feeder holding up to 725 sheets. The series runs up to 4,000 pieces per hour, folding up to 10 sheets in half-fold or 8 in tri-fold, with a divert station and electromechanical double-document detectors protecting every piece.
AutoSet handles settings automatically with 50 programmed jobs available, all managed from a 7-inch color touchscreen. Cascade Mode links feeders so one takes over as another empties, the 325-envelope hopper refills on the fly, and a 500-envelope vertical stacker collects output. An optional CIS scanner adds reading of OMR, 1D/2D barcodes, QR codes and OCR.
