The Formax FD 6406-22 is a high capacity feeder for the FD 6406 Series folder inserters, compatible with 2- or 4-station models. On a series rated up to 4,000 pieces per hour, it’s a straightforward way to extend run time between reloads and keep operators focused on finished mail instead of feeding paper.
Input flexibility is a 6406 hallmark: the series offers a high-capacity document feeder holding up to 725 sheets, production feeders, standard and special feeders, and short feed trays for small inserts or business reply envelopes. The platform’s 7-inch color touchscreen uses a graphics-based display with AutoSet automatic adjustment and up to 50 programmed jobs, while a 325-envelope top-loading hopper and 500-envelope vertical output stacker keep material moving at both ends. Cascade Mode and electromechanical double document detection are on board as well.
