About the FD 6406-20
The Formax FD 6406-20 is an add-on module that brings two standard feeders to the FD 6406 Series folder inserters, available for models with up to 4 stations. More stations mean more flexibility per job — additional documents, more inserts, fewer manual passes — on a platform rated up to 4,000 pieces per hour with 2 to 6 stations.
The 6406 Series accepts flexible input configurations of standard feeders, special feeders, production feeders and short feed trays, so this module slots into a wide range of setups. Operators work from a 7-inch color touchscreen with AutoSet automatic adjustment and up to 50 programmed jobs, fold up to 10 sheets (half fold) or 8 sheets (tri-fold), and can link feeders in Cascade Mode for continuous operation. Electromechanical double document detection protects accuracy, and auto standby kicks in after an hour of idle time to save energy.
