About the FD 6406-00
The Formax FD 6406-00 is a high-capacity production feeder for the FD 6406 Series folder inserters, field installed by a technician so it’s integrated properly from day one. The 6406 Series runs up to 4,000 pieces per hour with 2 to 6 stations, and its input configuration supports one or two of these production feeders for long, uninterrupted runs.
It joins a series built for operator-friendly volume: a 7-inch color touchscreen, AutoSet automatic adjustment, up to 50 programmed jobs, a 725-sheet high-capacity document feeder, a 325-envelope top-loading hopper and a 500-envelope vertical output stacker. The series folds up to 10 sheets in a half fold or 8 sheets tri-folded, links feeders in Cascade Mode for continuous feeding, and uses electromechanical double document detection at each feeder to protect job integrity.
