The Formax FD 6306 Series is a fully automatic office folder inserter that pairs user-friendly operation with real dependability. Offered in five configurations to fit most mailrooms, it folds documents and inserts them into envelopes while a 7-inch full-color touchscreen walks operators through setup. Up to 50 job configurations can be stored for fast, hassle-free recall on recurring runs.
The FD 6306 processes up to 3,800 pieces per hour and up to 40,000 pieces per month, with AutoSet automatically sensing paper length, fold type, envelope size and double documents — just load and go. Its folding system handles up to 8 pages in tri-fold and up to 10 pages in half-fold, and CIS scanning reads OMR, 1D and 2D barcodes anywhere on the page for variable-page insertion. Feeder options ranged from standard 325-sheet feeders to a high-capacity feeder up to 725 sheets and a production feeder up to 1,200 sheets, with a vertical stacker holding up to 500 finished envelopes.
