About the FD 6212-Basic 2

The Formax FD 6212-Basic 2 pairs two automatic sheet feeders with the same production-class folding and inserting engine as the rest of the 6212 series — up to 2,500 finished envelopes per hour and a duty cycle of up to 20,000 pieces per month. Two feeders let you collate a two-page document from separate stacks in a single pass, or run cascade mode on long single-document jobs so one feeder refills while the other keeps feeding.

Setup is where the 6212 series earns its keep. AutoSet measures paper length, envelope size, and fold length automatically for true one-touch job changes, and up to 50 recurring jobs can be stored for instant recall. The 7″ full-color touchscreen keeps operators oriented, while paper and envelope presence sensors, double-document detection, and a visible insert area let you confirm every piece is feeding correctly without stopping the run. Finished mail collects in a high-capacity vertical stacker that holds up to 500 filled envelopes in sequence, and an energy-saving ECO mode keeps idle draw down between jobs.
