About the FD 6212-Basic 1

The Formax FD 6212-Basic 1 brings production-class folding and inserting to offices and small mailrooms that are ready to stop stuffing envelopes by hand. With one automatic sheet feeder, it turns invoices, statements, letters, and notices into sealed, stacked mail at up to 2,500 pieces per hour, with a duty cycle rated for up to 20,000 pieces per month. Its powerful folding system handles up to 8 sheets at once, so multi-page documents are no obstacle.

Setup is where the 6212 series earns its keep. AutoSet measures paper length, envelope size, and fold length automatically for true one-touch job changes, and up to 50 recurring jobs can be stored for instant recall. The 7″ full-color touchscreen keeps operators oriented, while paper and envelope presence sensors, double-document detection, and a visible insert area let you confirm every piece is feeding correctly without stopping the run. Finished mail collects in a high-capacity vertical stacker that holds up to 500 filled envelopes in sequence, and an energy-saving ECO mode keeps idle draw down between jobs.
