About the FD 6212-Advanced 2

The Formax FD 6212-Advanced 2 is the full-service configuration of the 6212 series: two automatic sheet feeders plus a dedicated automatic insert/BRE feeder, so a business reply envelope, buckslip, or pre-folded insert rides along with every statement or invoice. It processes up to 2,500 finished envelopes per hour with a duty cycle of up to 20,000 pieces per month — the configuration most billing and statement operations actually need. It is also the only 6212 model that accepts the optional production feeder for higher-volume insert work.

Setup is where the 6212 series earns its keep. AutoSet measures paper length, envelope size, and fold length automatically for true one-touch job changes, and up to 50 recurring jobs can be stored for instant recall. The 7″ full-color touchscreen keeps operators oriented, while paper and envelope presence sensors, double-document detection, and a visible insert area let you confirm every piece is feeding correctly without stopping the run. Finished mail collects in a high-capacity vertical stacker that holds up to 500 filled envelopes in sequence, and an energy-saving ECO mode keeps idle draw down between jobs.

If your mail is one document, no inserts, the FD 6212-Basic 1 covers it with a single feeder; the FD 6212-Basic 2 adds a second feeder for two-page collation. The Advanced 2 is the model to choose when a reply envelope or insert goes in every piece.
