About the FD 6210 Special 2
Discontinued by Formax (September 2026). The FD 6210 series was dropped from the Formax price list effective 9/15/2026; the current model is the FD 6212 series (Basic 1, Basic 2 and Advanced 2). All For Mailers sells the FD 6210 Special 2 refurbished, rebuilt on our own bench, and continues to support it with parts and service.
The Formax FD 6210 Special 2 configuration equips the 6210 Series with two sheet feeders plus a special insert/BRE feeder, built for mailings where a reply envelope or tricky insert rides along with every statement. It processes up to 2,000 pieces per hour, or 2,500 with the optional productivity package, folding up to 5 sheets at a time.
Feeders hold up to 325 sheets each, the top-loading envelope hopper keeps runs moving, and a vertical output stacker collects 500 finished envelopes. AutoSet one-touch setup and 50 programmable jobs make changeovers fast on the 7-inch full-color touchscreen. Options include a CIS scanner for OMR, 1D/2D barcode and QR code reading, and a production feeder for BREs and short inserts up to 6 inches.
