About the FD 6210-Basic 1
Discontinued by Formax (September 2026). The FD 6210 series was dropped from the Formax price list effective 9/15/2026; the current model is Formax FD 6212-Basic 1. All For Mailers sells the FD 6210 Basic 1 refurbished, rebuilt on our own bench, and continues to support it with parts and service.
The Formax FD 6210 Basic 1 is the entry configuration of the 6210 Series folder inserter, equipped with one automatic sheet feeder and running up to 2,000 pieces per hour — expandable to 2,500 per hour and 20,000 pieces per month with the optional productivity package. AutoSet one-touch setup measures paper, envelope, and fold lengths for you, and 50 programmable jobs keep repeat work a button-press away.
The 7in full-color touchscreen makes operation straightforward, feeders hold up to 325 sheets, and the machine folds up to 5 sheets at once. Finished mail lands in a high-capacity vertical stacker holding 500 envelopes, fed from a top-loading envelope hopper. Paper and envelope presence sensors watch the run, sleep mode kicks in after an hour idle, and an optional CIS scanner reads OMR, 1D/2D barcodes, and QR codes anywhere on the document.
